Come spend some time slowing down, listening, moving and connecting with horses in a fun and calming experience created especially for kids.
This isn't about sitting perfectly still or being quiet the whole time. Kids will be invited to explore sound, simple breathing, gentle movement and mindful listening while spending time in the presence of horses.
We'll begin by learning a few simple horse-safety guidelines and getting comfortable around our equine friends. From there, we'll explore sound through instruments, listening games and a short sound bath designed to be engaging and accessible for young participants.
We'll also take some time to notice the horses and their behaviour, giving kids an opportunity to slow down and simply observe. We'll talk about what we notice, how different sounds make us feel, and what happens when we take a moment to pause and listen.
This is a gentle, playful introduction to sound and mindfulness where there is no expectation to sit perfectly still. Children can participate in the ways that feel comfortable for them.
The experience will be approximately 45 minutes and is best suited to children ages [insert age range].
Parents or caregivers are welcome to stay and participate.
Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for being around horses. Bring a water bottle and anything your child may need to feel comfortable outdoors.
Space will be limited to keep the group small and give everyone plenty of room to connect with the horses and enjoy the experience.
Come curious. Come comfortable. Come ready to listen.
