Step out of the yoga studio and into something more intentional.
Join Amanda & Jennifer for an intimate rooftop yoga experience in New Westminster. With over 35 years of combined teaching experience, this is not your typical drop-in class — it’s a return to what yoga used to feel like: grounded, present, and deeply connected.
Before everything changed, yoga in the city was truly something special. Spaces were sacred, distractions were left at the door, and the practice felt like a true exhale. This is your invitation to come back to that.
Each class is thoughtfully curated and intentionally small — limited to just four participants — allowing space for personalization, connection, and community. You’ll even have the opportunity to share what your body is needing, and we’ll shape the practice around it.
Amanda will guide you through a gentle flow, weaving together Hatha, Kundalini, and functional movement. Jennifer will then ease you into a deeply restorative yin practice, helping you slow down, release, and integrate. During Savasana, Amanda will help you relax and receive by offering a mini sound healing experience with crystal bowls and other instruments.
All of this takes place on a beautiful private rooftop patio — open sky above you, fresh air around you, and the warmth of the sun on your skin. And if the weather shifts, we simply move indoors and keep the energy going.
This is a private residence (with a couple of friendly cats), so please be mindful if you have allergies.
You’re warmly invited to stay afterward for tea or coffee on the patio — a chance to connect, linger, and build community together.
If you’ve been craving a more authentic yoga experience…
If you miss the feeling of truly being in your body…
If you’re ready to move, breathe, and reconnect — without distractions…
This space is for you.
Come as you are.
Investment: $25
Location: 220 Salter St, New Westminster, BC
More dates will be released soon. We plan on holding a class once a month during the Summer. Stay tuned for another opportunity to get your stretch on and build community.
You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat (mats will also be provided), along with any props you love — eye mask, bolster, blocks, or strap.
I recommend dressing in layers so you can stay comfortable as the temperature shifts. If the sun is shining, you may want to remove a layer, and if it cools down, you’ll be glad to have one to put back on. Blankets will be available for added warmth during savasana.
Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Light refreshments will be provided.
To reserve your space, please email Amanda at info@adawnrising.com. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to add info@adawnrising.com to your safe sender list (especially for Hotmail users), as all communication leading up to the class will come from this email.
