Integrative Wellness & Nutrition Coaching

Welcome, I'm Amanda.  👋🏽

It is no coincidence that you found your way here. You’ve already taken the first step, and that is often the most meaningful one.

I can’t promise that this journey will always feel easy or linear. What I can promise is that life can feel significantly lighter when you begin to release the pressure of dieting, food rules, over-exercising, body comparison, and the constant noise of wellness culture. It is possible to reconnect with your body, rebuild trust with yourself, and experience more ease, nourishment, and presence in your daily life.

This work is not about perfection—it is about remembering how to come home to yourself.

We live in a culture that often disconnects us from our bodies, our intuition, and our natural rhythms. If you are feeling stuck in cycles of restriction, overwhelm around food, or frustration with your body, please know you are not alone. There is nothing wrong with you. These patterns are often learned, and they can be unlearned with time, support, and care.

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Integrative Wellness Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the wellness field, supporting people through movement, nutrition, nervous system regulation, and embodied healing practices. My work has evolved beyond traditional nutrition into a more integrative, body-based approach that supports the whole person—body, mind, and nervous system.

My intention is to help you gently step out of weight-focused and diet-focused thinking, and instead reconnect with your body’s natural signals around hunger, fullness, energy, rest, and movement. Together, we work toward building a more trusting, compassionate, and grounded relationship with yourself.

This may include intuitive eating principles, nervous system support, stress regulation, movement practices, mindset work, and lifestyle shifts that feel sustainable and realistic for your life. Everything is tailored to you, at your pace.

My approach is trauma-aware, non-judgmental, and rooted in inclusivity. I hold space for all bodies, identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences, and believe that every person deserves to feel safe and supported in their relationship with food and their body.

How 1:1 Coaching Works

Once you decide to move forward, you will receive a detailed intake form designed to help me understand your health history, lifestyle, patterns, and goals. I ask that you take your time with this process, as it forms the foundation of your personalized support plan.

After reviewing your intake, we will begin with a 75-minute initial consultation (virtual or phone), where we explore your goals, current challenges, and the direction of your support.

From there, ongoing sessions are scheduled based on your needs and capacity. This may include follow-up consultations, check-ins, and continued guidance as you begin integrating what we explore together.

You will also have access to ongoing email support between sessions, as well as resources to support your journey.

This is not a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all program—it is a supportive process of unlearning, reconnecting, and building a more grounded relationship with yourself over time.

These 30-minute, follow-up sessions can be booked anytime you are in need of support. I will work with you as you dig deep into the roots of your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about food and your body, as you shift and develop new behaviours.

Elevated Nutrition

Prefer something other than 1-on-1 coaching? I also offer Elevated Nutrition, an online course designed to help you unlearn diet and wellness culture.

This self-paced course gives you lifetime access to all content, including updates as I continue to grow and learn. Diet and wellness culture is pervasive and often sneaks in unnoticed, even for me—but this course is here to help you navigate and overcome it.

 FAQs

  • We are all born as intuitive eaters—eating when hungry and stopping when full. However, as we grow, food rules and restrictions can disconnect us from this natural ability. We’re taught to clean our plates, see dessert as a reward, or associate food with behavior, gradually losing touch with our inner intuitive eater.

Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach that helps you break free from dieting, heal your relationship with food, and reconnect with your body’s natural cues. It’s not about following rules but about listening to your internal signals and exploring your beliefs, behaviors, and emotions around food for a deeper, more mindful connection.

  • Intuitive eating is NOT a diet and helps you break free from the cycle of dieting and learn how to make peace with all food and exercise.

  • It's important to understand that our sessions will not focus on weight loss. While you may have a desire to lose weight, our goal is to help you find peace with food and your body.

  • This is a common concern. However, it’s important to recognize that the diet mentality often triggers overeating and bingeing. When you make peace with all foods and trust that they’re always available, you can begin to tune in to your body’s natural signals of hunger, satisfaction, and fullness.

  • We often seek quick fixes, avoiding the effort real change requires. Unlike dieting, which feels easy at first but becomes unsustainable over time, intuitive eating is challenging upfront. It involves unlearning diet mentality, silencing your inner food critic, and building new habits. Though it takes time and introspection, once intuitive eating becomes second nature, you’ll enjoy a lifelong relationship with food and self-care rooted in balance and trust.

  • There’s never a perfect time to address diet and wellness culture. Intuitive eating isn’t about achieving perfection—it’s about making small, meaningful changes within the flow of everyday life to nurture ourselves.

  • YES! I work with all clients virtually. You get the same high-quality coaching support without having to leave the comfort of your own home or office.

  • Holistic Nutrition services are not typically covered by most insurance plans. However, if you have a health spending account, I will provide you with a receipt, which may qualify for full or partial reimbursement depending on your health benefits.
